JOB PURPOSE:
Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. We offer a wide product range including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial coatings and, of course, the famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
This position will work closely with customers, suppliers, business units and Information Technology to facilitate electronic communication via EDI for the organization and act as an owner of the strategic program. This position is responsible for monitoring incoming and outbound EDI data to resolve issues, on‐boarding new EDI partners, and mapping EDI documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitor and resolve issues on incoming and outbound EDI data.
2. Facilitate testing and on‐boarding of new EDI partners.
3. Manage Rust-Oleum’s EDI programs, including maintaining EDI partners.
4. Identify and resolve EDI errors and issues using established procedures.
5. Performing mapping of all EDI documents.
6. Support EDI functions as it relates to Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, and other internal EDI users.
7. Maintain EDI communications software. Set up and maintain AS2, SFTP, and FTP connections with trading partners.
8. Support IT teammates as necessary.
9. Gentran experience along with some minimal exposure to SAP

QUALIFICATIONS:
10. Strong understanding of the ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMs EDI standards.
11. Strong understanding of mapping principles.
12. Understanding of AS2, FTP, & SFTP communication protocols.
13. Understanding of ERP systems and how they communicate with EDI.
14. Knowledge of Gentran Server for Windows a plus.
15. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana a plus.
16. Ability to work with internal and external business partners.
17. Strong verbal and written communications skills.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in IT related major prefered.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience using skills as a seasoned professional with EDI and ERP related softwares required.
